A New Method of Items' Quantities Based Closed Frequent Itemsets Hierarchical Clustering

A web usage mining algorithm named closed frequent itemsets hierarchical clustering based on quantities(CFIHCQ) is proposed.The closed frequent itemsets with network user web access data is obtained with the algorithm.The clusters with closed frequent itemsets and points users in to the only cluster using scoring method are initialed.The cluster tree with cluster labels is constructed as well.The user access vectors are used to divide sub-clusters in cluster tree.Finally the cluster tree is pruned.Experiments indicate that CFIHCQ is of advantages such as predicating user web access behavior accurately, constructing clusters compactly,choosing cluster number flexible,and mining large data set efficiently.
