The invention has for object the use of compounds of formula (illustrated) in which X represents a hydrogen atom or both X represent a single bond between the two sulfur atoms; Y represents a hydrogen atom or a group or C1-C6 and n represents a number from 1 to 10 or their therapeutically usable salts for preparing a medicament for fighting against diseases caused by retroviruses, as well as agents containing these compounds for the treatment of diseases caused by retrovirus.
