Parallel Adaptivity for Solution of Euler Equations using Unstructured Meshes

A previously developed domain-decomposition based parallel algorithm is modified for adaptive solution of steady Euler Equations. A multi-level mesh enrichment approach is used by monitoring an error criterion based on gradients of flow variables. The mesh is repartitioned following the enrichments at each level to maintain balanced loads on processors. The results indicate improved solutions while maintaining parallel efficiency.
