Coating compositions that transmit infrared radiation and exhibit color stability and coating systems related
2012
A coating composition comprising: (a) a resinous film forming binder; (B) a first transparent pigment absorbing in the visible-infrared; and (c) a second transparent pigment absorbing in the visible infrared, different from the first transparent pigment absorbing in the visible-infrared, in which the first transparent pigment absorbing in the visible infrared has an average primary particle size not exceeding 100 nanometers, wherein a cured coating from the composition: (i) has a jetness of at least 240 and (ii) has a color change of no more than 1 unit .DELTA.E after 3000 hours of the durability test QUV.
