Application of unit commitment program to generation scheduling in China Light & Power Company Limited

This paper reports the application of a unit commitment program for operation planning in China Light & Power Company Limited (CLP). The unit commitment program was developed by P Plus Corporation (PPC) and recently has been customised to specific operations and user interface requirements of CLP.
