The article analyzes the system of trends of international business development. The authors identify the stages of development of international economic activities and analyze them. In addition, the authors reveal the peculiarities of international economic relations in the modern period. A natural result of the study was the conclusion that the multiplicity of the trends in the second decade of the twenty-first century, driven by the complexity of the system of world economic relations.
