Gain scheduled H_∞ controller design for magnetic bearing system of flywheel

Aiming at the gyroscopic effect in flat rotor and synchronization disturbance caused by unbalance mass,a gain scheduled H∞ controller is designed after the analysis and modeling for the rotor system which is a linear parameter varying(LPV) system.The part of the gyroscopic effect caused by varying speed is regarded as the varying parameter of the system.The convex optimization algorithms and the linear matrix inequality(LMI) are used here.Simulation results show that the system with gain scheduled H∞ controller has better characters in static state,dynamic state and robustness on a reducing conservatism basis.
