Solar selective molybdenum-black films by cathodic electro-deposition

Abstract Solar selective molybdenum-black films have been prepared on various substrates by a cathodic electro-deposition technique. These films are adherent and non-crystalline in nature and consist essentially of MoO 3 . The films on nickel plated copper substrates have α ≈0.85 and ϵ ≈0.11.
