A Case Study on Inventory Management of Non- Instantaneous Deteriorating Items & Demand Predication

The inventory management of Non Instantaneous deteriorating is the biggest issue in the present global market. Due to the organoleptic properties of perishable inventory, it is difficult to maintain the standard. Variation in demand is also an important parameter to be considered for the management perspective. Here We have used particle swarm optimization techniques to handle such type of inventory problem. The proposed method predicts the probability of demand and demand pattern at a particular time period under the various assumptions.
