Determinantes para la gestión del desarrollo económico local del municipio de Candelaria, Valle del Cauca

This research was constituted in an analysis exercise that allowed to identify which are the determining factors for the management of Local Economic Development of the municipality of Candelaria, Valle del Cauca, from the perception of key actors in the territory. A methodological approach was used based on the case study, for which leaders from the social, business and educational sectors were consulted, applying an integrated survey through a participatory workshop. In line with the integrated analysis of the three sectors that were consulted to identify the determinants oriented to LED, it was found that the reduction of the productive and innovation gap is not only a critical variable that serves as an end to public policy, but also This stands as strong evidence that all the active variables in the analysis of the components or dimensions analyzed in the research should point in the same direction towards reducing this gap. And here is the true determinant of the Local Economic Development of the Municipality of Candelaria.
