The invention discloses a method for producing manganese sulfate from manganese-rich slag through atmospheric pressure leaching. The method comprises the following steps of: a) carrying out size mixing on the manganese-rich slag by using a sulfuric acid solution to obtain mixed slurry; b) putting the mixed slurry into a reaction container; c) in the reaction process, controlling the pH value of the solution, discharging after atmospheric pressure acid leaching to obtain an acid leaching mixture; and d) carrying out solid-liquid separation on the obtained acid leaching mixture to obtain a manganese sulfate solution. According to the method for producing manganese sulfate from manganese-rich slag through atmospheric pressure leaching in the embodiment of the invention, the method of leaching by controlling pH value is adopted, so that the leaching rate of manganese is high, the problem that the filtering performance is influenced by a great deal of silica gel generated in the original leaching process can be solved, and the manganese can be selectively and efficiently dissolved out. In addition, the method for producing the manganese sulfate from the manganese-rich slag through atmospheric pressure leaching has the advantages of simple process flow, low material price and production cost, short processing time and environment-friendly natural environment.
