Cryotherapy with Solid Carbon Dioxide in the Treatment of Nevus Flammeus

Thirty-five infants with nevus flammeus were treated with carbon dioxide snow at intervals of two weeks. The treatment was initiated between the first and eleventh week, and improvement was found to be best when started between the age of 3 and 6 weeks. The result was excellent is 8 cases, good in 11, fair in 12, and poor in 4.
