Acousto-Optical Filtration of Infrared Region Bessel Light Beams in Uniaxial Crystals

The noncollinear acousto-optic filtration of infrared region Bessel light beams in uniaxial crystals has been investigated. An expression is found for the diffraction efficiency depending on the parameters of the interacting Bessel beams of the o- and e-type, as well as on the values of the overlap integrals. Using the method of overlap integrals it is shown that independently of the order of Bessel light beams in the conditions of transversal phase-matching of diffracted waves in the range of optical spectrum 8.4-13.6 μm in tellurium crystals the bandwidth of transmission ~20 nm is reached. For ortoselenoarsenit crystals in the range of optical spectrum 9-14 μm the bandwidth of transmission ~48 nm is reached.
