A method of adjusting the volume of a digital sound recording

The present invention relates to a method for adjusting the volume of a digital sound recording characterized in that it comprises: - a step of determining, in absolute value, for recording of the maximum amplitude value for the sound frequencies audible to the human ear, - a step of calculating the gain for a possible adjustment of the sound level determined between the value of the maximum amplitude previously determined and the value of the maximum amplitude across all frequencies, - a step of restitution of recording a sound card by automatically adjusting the level of amplification gain for obtaining a noise level of the recording of a predetermined value to match the gain calculated for this record.
