Analyzing powers of 6L↘i(d,α)4He at 0.4 and 0.6 MeV with a new polarized 6Li target

With the determination of the analyzing powers of the reaction 6L↘i(d,α)α we have, for the first time, performed an experiment with the recently developed polarized 6Li target. The experimental arrangement of this target is presented. The measured analyzing powers are discussed.
