On the invariant solutions of the Korteweg-de Vries-burgers equation

Lie's method of continuous transformation groups is applied to deduce a class of invariant (similarity) solutions of the Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers equation. The invariant solutions are shown to satisfy a movable critical points variant of the first Painleve's transcendental equation.
