Activities of the Institute of Informatics of the Silesian University of Technology in the area of assistive technologies

The review article shows the achievements of employees of the Institute of Informatics in the field of assistive technologies. The article briefly presents the main research projects conducted at the Institute, focused on assisting technology for people with low vision impairment, blind and for people with hearing problems. The currently developed research in this area is also described.
