Ensayos preliminares en Aloysia polystachya (Griseb.) Mold. (Verbenaceae) y sus tinturas

SUMMARY. “Preliminary Assays in Aloysia polystachya (Griseb.) Mold. Verbenaceae and its Tinctures”. This paper includes some pharmacognostical and pharmacotechnical aspects of the attainment of hydroalcoholic solutions obtained from plants developed by vegetative micropropagation and cultivated under cover in controled conditions. The assays performed on the plant material were: powder drug observation, histochemical reactions, aqueous and alcoholic extracts, dry weigth loss and whole ashes. In tinctures organoleptic characteristics, water solubility, dry weigth loss, pH, and the action of acids, alkalis and hard oxidants were probed.
