[Human teratocarcinoma: cell affinity labelling with tritiated estrogens]

4 cases of human teratocarcinoma 2 ovarian teratoblastomas and 2 testicular teratomas were treated with triatiated estrogen to label cell affinity. A pattern of radioactivity was observed in both teratoblastomas and teratomas and cells with lymphoid morphology were labelled. It is possible that these cells may secrete alpha fetoproteins since labelling with tritiated estrogens has shown the association of serum alpha fetoproteins with this kind of tumors.
