Avaliação da participação nos estudos interlaboratoriais do laboratório de medicamentos do INCQS, utilizando os resultados obtidos no período de 2002 a 2009

2014
The present work aims to evaluate the results of interlaboratory studies carried out by the INCQS medicines sector as a participant in the period of between January 2002 to December 2009, to identify problems, to show the need to relate the parameters of the quality system, encouraging the establishment of technical standards and monitoring their ongoing performance. The participation in the program of collaborative study and proficiency testing by some laboratories, occurs as a mere necessity to meet the accreditation bodies, which underestimates the benefits gained from being part of a well-planned program It was observed that although the INCQS medicines sector participate in interlaboratory studies, this still does not take advantage completely the data generated by the program and its benefits. Furthermore, the adhesion of the INCQS medicines sector to this type of program is still quite low, particularly with respect to the exchange of information between the organizer (coordinator) and the participant. The survey found out about 33 samples were from interlaboratory studies in this period, but only 33% INCQS got a reply from the applicant and 67% had no communication of any kind. It was concluded that participation in interlaboratory studies encourages the constant improvement on the activities of the medicines sector . The recommendation for greater adherence to the study aims to complement the assessment process, which provides assistance to improve the performance of the sector. Institutionally, the proposition of creating the kind of Proficiency Testing (PT), and the discussion of concepts between PT and collaborative study that will establish the best distinction between studies, it is extremely important to Official Laboratory, INCQS, in the context of Sanitary Vigilance.
