The results of construction of coke ovens of large refractory concrete blocks, six years of service of 10 ovens of Battery No. 1, and three years of service of Battery No. 4 at Stakhanov Coke and Chemical Plant have shown a number of technical and economic advantages and have provided a positive answer relative to the possibility of successful use of large block concrete structures in relining of coke batteries of dinas refractory bricks and of their effective service under conditions of modern coke batteries
