2013
Objective To investigate and analyze the situation of perioperative prophylactic use of antibacterial for Class Ⅰ incision before and after special rectification of our hospital, and to understand the effect of the special rectification activities. Methods Four hundred surgical medical records of class Ⅰ incision were randomly selected, including 200 medical records from January to June 2011 (before rectification) and 200 medical records from January to June 2012 (after rectification). The rationality of perioperative prophylactic use of antibacterial for class Ⅰ incision before and after special rectification was compared. Results After rectification, the situation of perioperative prophylactic use of antibacterial for class Ⅰ incision of our hospital had been greatly improved, compared to the situation before rectification. The usage rate of antibacterial decreased from 78.0% to 33.0%,per capita cost of antimicrobial from 529.3 yuan to 195.7 yuan, and per capita days of using antimicrobial from 2.04 days to 0.95 days. After rectification, the usage proportion of prophylactic use of antibacterial for aseptic surgery was still slightly higher than 30% required by Ministry of Health. Conclusion The special rectification activities can contribute to promoting the rational use of antimicrobial. The situation of perioperative prophylactic use of antibacterial for class Ⅰ incision of our hospital had been greatly improved after rectification. But there is still a slightly higher proportion, longer time of prophylactic use,and unreasonable selection of species, still need to strengthen the management of prophylactic use of antibacterial.
