According to the method, cylinder sleeve columns (5) on a lower mold (2) of a cylinder sleeve recovery device are used for fixing the cylinder sleeve, then a left pressing plate (7) and a right pressing plate (8) on an upper die (1) of the cylinder sleeve recovery device are used for tearing open the cylinder body in a half-and-half mode, and accordingly the cylinder body and the cylinder sleeve are recycled. The method has the advantages that equipment investment is small, occupied area is small, the waste cylinder body and the cylinder sleeve are recycled at the normal temperature so that zero pollution and zero emission can be achieved, recycling cost is low, equipment can be operated conveniently and safety is high. Hence, the application space is wide.
