Study on resistance of soybean germplasm to SMV3 and SC7

Soybean Mosaic Virus(SMV) is one of the most serious diseases in soybean production all over the world.Different SMV cultivars show different pathogenicity,and resistance of the soybean breeding to SMV cultivars show significant diversity.Total 237 soybean cultivars were identified for resistance to SMV by inoculation with SMV3 and SC7.The results showed that 3 materials were highly resistant to SMV3,5 were highly resistant to SC7.The resistant materials were mainly from Hebei,Shandong and Beijing.In wild soybeans,4 materials were highly resistant to SMV3,2 of them were highly resistant to SC7.The resistant materials were mainly from Shanxi,Gansu,Henan and Hebei.
