A method of manufacturing an array substrate, a display panel

The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an array substrate, a display panel, the array substrate comprising: a gate electrode formed over the substrate; a gate insulating layer formed over the gate electrode; an active layer, and the said gate electrode opposing, is formed over the gate insulating layer; source and drain electrodes formed over the active layer; a pixel electrode, and the drain electrode are formed over the gate insulating layer electrically connected; a passivation layer covering the source electrode, the drain electrode and the pixel electrode; and a common electrode, the corresponding pixel electrode and is formed over the passivation layer; wherein said common electrode is formed with an opening through the passivation layer to expose the pixel electrode thereunder.
