The utility model discloses a special positive electrode for a nickel-hydrogen power battery, comprising three parts of a positive electrode active material coating, a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode lug and the like, wherein the positive electrode active material coating consists of nano nickel hydroxide, nano graphite powder, PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) emulsion, CMC (Carboxy Methylated Cellulose), carbon nano tube and nano cobalt oxide. The special positive electrode is characterized in that the positive electrode active material coating is coated on a single surface or two surfaces, so as to be stuck on the positive electrode current connector; and the positive electrode lug is welded on a reserved part of the positive electrode current collector made of nickel foils or nickel-aluminum alloy foils by laser or ultrasonic wave and is connected with an exposed part uncoated with positive electrode active materials. In the special positive electrode, the charging and discharging effects of the battery with large current are improved, the current collector is made of the nickel foil or the nickel aluminum alloy foil with smaller thickness and high toughness, more serious burr can not occur when an electrode piece is slit, the phenomenon of the fracture can not occur in the winding or folding process, and problems of short circuit, low volume and the like are effectively reduced, so that the cyclic service life of a produced motive power battery is prolonged.
