Meningioangiomatosis : A case report

1989
Abstract A case of meningioangiomatosis without neurofibromatosis, a rare disorder, is described. These patients are usually young (mean age, 27 years) and frequently present with seizures that resolve following partial or total resection of the lesion. The lesions are firm and well demarcated grossly with areas of calcification. Only single lesions have been described. Neurofibrillary tangles, noted in the present case, have been reported previously, but their significance remains uncertain. The lesions are benign and surgery is recommended.
