Replication Data for: Mapping and Modeling Sources of Natural Remanent Magnetization in the Microcline-Sillimanite Gneiss, Northwest Adirondack Mountains: Implications for Crustal Magnetism
2021
The dataset includes magnetic inversion results and high-resolution magnetic scan data (before and after alternating field demagnetization to 100 mT) of a 30µm thick section of a Microcline-Sillimanite Gneiss sample from the Russel Belt in the northwest Adirondack Mountains, New York. The sample has a large natural remanent magnetization of 8.2 A/m and a Q value of 598. Inversion of the data provided an estimation of the fine-scale magnetization of the sample.
