A process for reducing the engine torque drives for wiping

2010
A method for operating a wiper direct drive with a motor, in particular for a windshield wiper described. The method includes reading at least one characteristic from a memory and operate the wiper direct drive with an angle-dependent and direction-dependent torque corresponding maximum to an angle-dependent and direction-dependent value of the characteristic curve, wherein the characteristic includes at least the following values: a first, maximum value of the upward wiping at a first wiping angle between a lower turning position and an upper turning position; a second value of the up wiping with a second wiping angle between the first wiping angle and the upper turning position, wherein the second value of the up wiping at the second wiping angle is less than the first maximum value of the up wiping at the first wiping angle; a first maximum value of the down wiping, with a wiping angle between the upper turning position and the lower turning position, wherein the first maximum value of the down wiping is larger than the first maximum value of the up wiping; and a second value of the downward wiping corresponding to a position corresponding to the second wiper wiping angle, wherein the second value of the down wiping is larger than the second value of the up wiping.
