Split-type head-up display and head-up display method

The invention discloses a split-type head-up display and a head-up display method. The display comprises an optical assembly which is disposed on a rearview mirror and is used for displaying a light-emitting image of vehicle information, and a display device which is disposed on an instrument platform and is used for displaying a virtual image of the light-emitting image. The display device comprises a concave surface reflector, and the concave surface reflector is movably arranged so as to enable a drive to visually recognize the virtual image of the light-emitting image displayed on the concave surface reflector. The instrument platform occupies a small space, and is convenient to install. The method fundamentally solves problems that the front view of a vehicle is affected because a conventional integrated-type HUD system is large in size and is too high in height.
