The fiberglass reinforced wood-plastic composite material is mainly prepared from fiberglass, waste plastics, plant fibers and a regulator, wherein the mass ratio is (5 to 30): (30 to 60): (0 to 15): (20 to 40), the fiberglass adopts the fiberglass coated with plastics, the regulator is one or more of PP, PE, PVC, PP-g-MAH, PE-g-MAH, EVA-g-MAH. The preparation method of the material comprises the following steps: coating the fiberglass, banburying, producing powder, hot pressing, and molding. The fiber coating treatment can effectively solve the interface bonding problem of the fiberglass with wood plastics, so that the strength of a product is improved, the consumption of the waste plastics and wood plastics in the wood plastics is greatly increased, the length of the added fiberglass is not limited due to the hot pressing molding, and the reinforcing effect of the fiber is sufficiently realized.
