Information Support Systems of Electric Power Industry Personnel Based on Augmented Reality Technology

The department "Relay Protection and Automation of Energy Systems" of NRU "MEI" is developing a specialized software and hardware complex (SHC) which is capable to provide operating personnel with information about the state of the facility primary and secondary equipment in real time while being out of their automated working space. This paper describes the creation of the complex, debugging its operation, solutions aimed at automating the process of "learning" hardware recognition, and also provides cost calculations.
