Value of transvaginal three-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound in diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions

2011
Objective To explore the value of transvaginal three-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound in diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions. Methods The clinical data of 85 patients with suspicious intrauterine adhesions were analyzed retrospectively. The results of hysteroscopy and pathology were considered as standard, then the detection rate of intrauterine adhesions by two-dimensional ultrasound and three-dimensional ultrasound was compared, the relationship between sonogram data and intrauterine adhesions degree was analyzed. Results The diagnostic accuracy and positive predict value of two-dimensional ultrasound and three-dimensional ultrasound in diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions were compared, there were significant difference between two groups(P0.05).The dagnosis accuracy rates of three-dimensional ultrasound for moderate and severe intrauterine adesions were 100% by three-dimensional ultrasound. Conclusion Transvaginal three-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound can diagnoze intrauterine adhesions conveniently, effectively and non-invasively,which has high clinical application value.
