CT Angiography with Maximum Intensity Projection in the Assessment of Pelvic Arterial Disease

1994
Stenosis or occlusion of iliac arteries are primarily investigated by noninvasive methods like doppler ultrasound and duplex sonography followed by diagnostic angiography with interventional procedures. The aim of this ongoing study is to determine whether computed tomographic (CT) angiography with maximum intensity projection can demonstrate pelvic arterial disease before and after interventional procedures and, in case of stent implantation, the patency and position of the stent in comparison with digital subtraction angiography (DSA).
