Определение патологии твердых тканей зубов и оценка их состояния по балльно-рейтинговой системе

We have examined 5081 students of different Volgograd universities. We have determined prevalence rate of caries and intensity of the affect by DMF index among students. We have applied Tooth Occlusal Surface Failure Index (TOSFI) offered by V.Y. Milikevich (1984). The work shows different forms of retrognathia, fluorosis, dental enamel erosions, wedge-shaped defects, dental injuries, hypersensitivity among students and represents a new method of dental tissue state estimation based on point rating system.
