Virtual Experiment Platform for Materials Design

The virtual experiment platform was newly developed, in which various components of computational materials science and engineering technologies are synthetically integrated, such as simulation, database, data analysis, visualization, and human interface. A special feature of this platform is the realization of a new concept by using the “taskflow engine” to control and to operate various components of computational technology. In this taskflow engine, the all computational modules for materials design are automatically executed based on the task scenario. Some results obtained from the calculation for materials properties are also shown.
