In this study, factors of airflow quantity and sample quantity which affect the spontaneous combustion parameters of coal during the experiments based on "crossing point" were investigated. Laboratory studies were carried out on the coal samples which were taken from -400/-450 Buyuk seam of Kandilli Colliery of Turkish Hardcoal Enterprises (TTK). Statistical relations between these factors and parameters were determined
