Pictophonetic code Chinese character input method

1998
The Chinese character input method uses both pronunciation and form of Chinese characters, encodes both characters and words and has fixed code length of four codes. One character is encoded with itsconsonant, vowel, tone and radical, while one word is encoded with its consonants or both its consonants and vowels depending on its number of syllables. All the code elements are designated to 26 letter keys. The tone key not used as consonant key is used to distinguish character code from word code when it is in the third key. There are auxiliary encoding method marked in the first key for the input of some special characters and fuzzy pronunciations. The present invention is suitable for both professional and common people.
