Risk factors in dysphonia. In this paper, the nodular and non nodular dysphonies will be study considering the variables: age, sex, tabaquic habit profession and treatment duration. The used method is the descriptive and retrospective analysis of 137 pacients with dysphonia from the logopedic rehabilitation unit of the Asturias Central Hospital. The data were analyzed by t-Student y Chi-square. The results show a prevalence of the dysphonias next to 50%, being nodulars 34,31%. According to the kind of dysphonia was found statistical signification for the age, tabaquic habit and treatment duration. It wasn't found statistical relation for kind of dysphonia considering sex and profession. It is reatly important the influence of factors such as sex, age and tabaquic habit on the development of dysphonies. However the use of the voice related with the profession an a factor of risk hasn't any influence.
