Fishing and aquaculture represent an excellent generation sector, must be observed occupational health of fishermen. The objective of this work was to analyze the noise levels of fishing boats and establish prevention of hearing problems. Data collection occurred in three fishing boats operating in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. Some practices can be implemented: use of hearing protection, lubrication and record of equipment and purchasing a sound pressure level environmental meter for measuring boats. Concluded that the action of working environment on the employee show the need for changes in the work routine and employment in occupational health surveillance of fishing boats.
