The invention discloses a parking control system which comprises a locking motor, a receiving device, a first locking detecting device, a second locking detecting device, and a drive control device, wherein the locking motor is used for locking or unlocking a gearbox; the receiving device is used for receiving a first trigger signal for driving the locking motor; the first locking detecting device is used for detecting the position of a motor rotor of the locking motor and generating a first position signal; the second locking detecting device is used for detecting the current position of a gear P in the gearbox and generating a second position signal; the drive control device is connected to the receiving device, the first locking detecting device, the second locking detecting device and the locking motor; the drive control device is used for, according to the second position signal, judging a distance between the current position and a complete locking position, and controlling the locking motor according to the first trigger signal, the first position signal and the distance. The parking control system can guarantee the gear P to be completely locked by detecting the current position of the gear P in the gearbox, so that the reliability of the parking control system is improved. The invention further discloses a parking control method.
