A pressure and distance sensor based on magnetic circuits

Abstract A new sensor has been developed based on the reluctance variation of a double magnetic circuit. A theoretical and experimental study has been performed to select the most suitable coil arrangement. The effect of thermal treatment on sensor performance has also been studied.
