Color photoresist and application thereof, color filter substrate, display panel and liquid crystal display

The present invention relates to the field of photosensitive materials, and discloses a color photoresist and an application thereof, a color filter substrate, a display panel and a liquid crystal display. The color photoresist comprises a photoinitiator and quantum dots. The photoinitiator comprises a first photoinitiator containing no electron-rich functional group and/or a second photoinitiator containing an electron-rich functional group. The second photoinitiator comprises a conjugate structure formed by the electron-rich functional group and an adjacent functional group of the electron-rich functional group. The color photoresist provided in the embodiments comprise quantum dots emitting light normally, and a color filter substrate manufactured by using the color photoresist has a wide gamut to effectively improve display quality of a liquid crystal display.
