Policy and Legislation/Regulations of Plastic Waste Around the Globe

To address the grievances/consequences of any issue in the society, a legal system is needed to enforce the rules and regulation. Similarly to tackle with the increasing menace of plastic waste or in other words to minimize the generation of plastic waste, policy-makers across the globe have fished out some important regulations followed by the legal implementation of those policies/regulations at the mass level using the law of the concerned state or country. In the present chapter, all the plastic waste regulation boards working in different continents of the world were highlighted. The policies implemented by the respective government were discussed in detailed to draw the final conclusion to determine the influence of these regulations to minimize the generation of plastic waste.
