The communication path switching method comprises step 1, obtaining the switching information which is the information required during network structure switching and communication of first UE (User Equipment) and second UE and step 2, switching a communication path which is adopted during communication of the first UE and the second UE into a second network structure from a first network structure or into the first network structure from the second network structure according to the obtained switching information. According to the technical scheme of the communication path switching method, device, processing device and system, the technical problems that communication paths of different network structures cannot be switched when the communication is performed between UEs are solved and accordingly the switching between the communication paths of the different network structures is achieved and the switching efficiency is improved.
