The waterproof instrument cable is characterized in that the insulating layer extruded and enwrapped on the conductor is made of silane cross linked polyethylene or PE materials; each unit group is an twisted pair line group formed by stranding two insulated wire cores; a unit leading wire and a unit shielding layer are respectively arranged on each unit group; waterproof paste is filled in each unit group; the cable core is formed by a plurality of unit groups with different stranded pitches; and an overall leading wire is arranged outside the cable core; the waterproof paste is filled at the clearance in the middle of the cable core; the armor layer has a structure woven by a tinned steel wire; and the outer sheath is made of low fume and halogen-free flame retardant PE sheath materials or TPU elastic materials. The utility model not only has excellent electrical property, but also has the advantages of water tightness, corrosion resistance, low fume, flame retardance, environmental protection, and the like, and can effectively improve the quality of instruments and meters for the vessels in cable connection.
