Detection of Cyanide ion by Chemosensing and Fluorosensing Technology

Abstract Cyanide ion sensing is one of the most important phenomena in recognition chemistry. Among all anions, cyanide is greatest interest because of its extreme toxicity and poisoning in environment and micromolar level of cyanide are fatal to humans. In contrast, cyanide compound can use as raw materials in fibers, resins, herbicides, and the gold-extraction process. Those processes also releases cyanide which is very detrimental.
