The invention discloses a direct current partial discharge source detecting and recognizing device. The direct current partial discharge source detecting and recognizing device comprises a band-pass filter, a high speed capture card and an industrial personal computer, is capable of realizing direct current partial discharge source detection, classification and mode recognition, and is applicable to transformer paper oil insulation partial discharge experiment. An analog front end of the device is provided with 40M simulation bandwidth, so that high-frequency component of partial discharge pulse signal is guaranteed to be correctly acquired; resolution of high-speed capture card is 10 bits, so that resolution and sensibility of the device during partial discharge pulse collection. The device is capable of recording partial discharge pulse waveform and happening moments to form pauls time sequence, adopting partial discharge pulse cluster rapid classifying technology to classify original pulse cluster into a plurality of auxiliary pulse clutter to abstract discharge fingerprint according to pulse waveform characteristics and at last utilizing fault characteristics data base to perform discharge type judgment on the auxiliary pulse clutter. The direct current partial discharge source detecting and recognizing device has typical characteristics functions such as external disturbance eliminating function, multiple partial discharge source separating function and partial discharge mode recognition function.
