Microcomputer Courses in the Pharmacy Curriculum

1984
Abstract The development of several microcomputer courses for under-graduate pharmacy students is described in detail. The pharmacy profession is highly receptive to the computerization of many professional services, however, pharmacists generally are not well informed about the applications of small computers for their clinical responsibilities or the financial management of their practices. The introduction of computer application courses in our curriculum and the development of a microcomputer laboratory within our School have assured that our graduates will have had computing experiences before assuming practice positions in pharmacies.
