Calculation and Error Analysis of Elastic Parameters for Marine Sediments

According to the vertical wave velocity,shear wave velocity and wet density of marine sediments,a set of elastic parameters calculation formulas for marine sediments are introduced based on the theory of soil and rock mechanics.Elastic parameters of seafloor sediments in southern South China Sea are calculated using these formulas,and the calculated results are compared with references data,then the errors between two different methods are analyzed.
